Kent, Connecticut is a town found in Litchfield County, and it situated along the New York border. Approximately 3,000 people call the community home, many of which send their children to one of three prominent boarding schools: The Marvelwood School, Kent School, and South Kent School. This rural community was incorporated in 1739, and historically it was known for its farming and iron ore production. The most popular attractions in Kent revolve around the great outdoors. Bulls Bridge – one of two covered bridges in the state that is open to vehicle traffic – is found here, or you can also take a bike ride with the Bicycle Tour Company. Kent is home to two state parks – Kent Falls State Park and Macedonia State Park - and biking is also popular along the Western New England Greenway.
